Do the napkin and runner colours look the same as on the website/ on Instagram?
While we try to ensure the photos on our website are an accurate representation of the colours, screen resolutions on different devices vary which can reflect items in slightly different shades. We would highly advise on ordering samples from our website so you can see the colours in person.
Any posts or photos on social media could be edited by a third party, so we cannot guarantee that the colours are represented accurately on social media.

Do you have a hire price list?
We don’t hold a hire price list for every single item, but general prices are as follows:
Original and Fringe Napkins- £1.55 per napkin
Wild Flower Napkins- £1.30 per napkin
Gingham Napkins- £2.00 per napkin
Heritage Napkins- £2.25
Original Runners- £10.00 per runner
Fringe material Runners- £15.00 per runner
Base Colour Custom Runners- £3.00 per metre
Light Dyed Custom Runners- £3.25 per metre
Mid Dyed Custom Runners- £3.50 per metre

How much is it for delivery?
Delivery - Delivery costs are done by weight as follows:
Under 2kg - £20.00
2kg to 10kg - £35.00
Over 10kg - £45.00
If you are collecting and returning the items to and from our premises, we will charge a packaging fee of £5, but no delivery fee.
The weight does depend on the number of items and the type of fabric (e.g. fringe fabric is of heavier material than original fabric). We can provide a delivery fee when we provide a quote; however, if the quantity of items changes nearer the time, there is a chance the delivery fee could change. We will advise of any changes in the delivery fee.

How long can I have the hire items for, and can I extend the hire period?
Our Hire period is 5 days with the return or collection taking place on day 5 of the booking. For example - The Monday after a Saturday event.
If you wish to extend your hire period e.g. have your items delivered early or returned at a later date, we will need to charge an extended hire period fee of 20% of the hire charge per extra day.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book in the hire?
We ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit to book in the items. We will request the remaining amount one month before the event.

Is there a minimum order amount?
There is no minimum fee you need to meet but our napkins are ordered in multiples of 5.
If you only wanted 5 napkins that would be no problem!

Can I change the quantity of the items I need in the lead-up to the event?
Upon the time of ordering, we advise that you order the maximum quantity of items you may need, and you can reduce these up to one month before the event prior to the final invoice being issued. It may be difficult to increase the number of items at a later date as we cannot guarantee availability. We cannot make changes to quantities after the final invoice has been issued.

For custom runners, how do you work out the runner lengths?
We will ask for your table plan and dimensions nearer the time of the event (usually a couple of months beforehand). We can advise on some length options depending on how you would like to style your tables.

Can I purchase the items from you?
Unfortunately items are for hire only and will need to be returned to us at the end of the hire period, including our custom runners.

How can I track my items once you have sent these?
We send items via Royal Mail. We will send you a tracking number where you can see the journey of your order.

Should I wash the items after use?
Please do not wash the items as we use specialist laundry detergent for our products. We do ask if possible, that items are dry when they are packed in the return bag.

How do I return the items?
You can put them in the postbag we send you, though we ask that they are dry when you put them in the bag . We can either arrange a Royal Mail collection, or you can drop them at a Post Office

What happens if items are missing or damaged after the event?
We charge for missing or damaged items as follows:
Original Napkins- £7.50 per napkin
Fringe Napkins- £7.50 per napkin
Wild Flower Napkins- £5.00 per napkin
Gingham Napkins- £10 per napkin
Original Runners- £20.00 per runner
Fringe material Runners- £25.00 per runner
There are no damage charges for custom runners, but we do ask that these are returned to us. If unreturned it will incur a £15 penalty
Missing items returned to us at a later date in good condition can be removed from the damage/loss invoice.

What counts as a damaged item?
Most food and drink spills can be addressed in our laundering process. However, the following types of damage will incur a damage charge:
Candle Wax
Burns/Singes
Tears/Rips/Pulled Threads
Dye/Ink Stains
Tape Residue (e.g., Sellotape/Duct Tape)
Mildew/Mould
Chewing Gum
Ground Mud
If any items are soiled with vomit or other biofluids, they should be disposed of immediately. The hirer must notify The Knotted Napkin Co. about such disposals so these items are not expected to be returned.
