Handmade in Britain
Every single one of our luxury napkins is made, by hand, in Britain. More specifically, they’re made in our glorious sunsoaked studio in Cornwall, by our co-founders Abi and Jane.
The process is exactly the same as when we created our first, original batch of napkins for Abi’s wedding; just on a (much) larger scale and a (little) bit quicker!
We carefully source our materials from ateliers and specialists across the continent, to make sure that only the best quality fabrics end up on your tables.
When it arrives at our studio, it’s then time to meticulously cut, pin, sew, press, mitre, sew, and press each napkin again, to ensure gorgeously soft fabric and delightfully crisp edges. For table runners and our wildflower napkins, we also hand-dye them to achieve the perfect colour. Then we complete any necessary finishing touches – like our fringe napkins, which are individually fringed.
If you order our napkins pre-knotted, this is done by hand too!
The result is a set of uniquely hand-crafted luxurious napkins ideal for whatever occasion they’ll be part of. Making each napkin is a labour of love – which we think is perfect for the love-filled celebrations they go onto be part of!
Created with care
All our products are created to a very high quality and are nearly identical, however, they are handmade and therefore there is a wonderful uniqueness to each piece. Each item has been made to a specification however there may be a slight variation in size, straightness of sewing, pattern, colour in fabric bolts and in hand-dyed items etc. These are part of the charm and look of the items, this makes them extra special.
